SHOE CARE & MAINTENANCE

Keep your ZODACK Sneakers & Sports Shoes in prime condition

⚠️ Important Caution: Different materials require specific maintenance methods. Never wash your ZODACK shoes in a washing machine or dry them under direct harsh sunlight, as heat damages the structural adhesives and cushioning integrity.

Lifestyle Sneakers (Suede & Synthetic Leather)
Never use water or liquid soap directly on Suede or Nubuck parts. Use a dry Suede eraser or a soft crepe brush to gently brush away surface dust and restore the nap texture.
Wipe the textured white and grey synthetic leather panels using a slightly damp microfibre cloth infused with a few drops of mild soap or shoe cleaner. Wipe dry immediately with a clean towel.
If your sneakers get caught in the rain, blot away excess moisture immediately with a dry towel and stuff them with clean white paper to absorb internal dampness. Let them dry naturally in a shaded, well-ventilated room. Never use a hair dryer or direct heat.
To remove scuffs and dirt from the white rubber cupsole, apply a small amount of non-gel white toothpaste or a baking soda paste. Gently scrub with an old soft toothbrush and wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Store them in a cool, dry place inside their original shoebox or with shoe trees/paper stuffing inside to maintain their classic cupsole shape and prevent creasing.
Sports & Running Shoes (Mesh & Foam)
Remove the laces and insoles first. Use a soft-bristled brush dipped in a mixture of lukewarm water and mild detergent to gently scrub away mud or sweat stains from the mesh weave.
After an outdoor run or turf session, let the mud dry completely, then tap the soles together. Use a blunt tool or old toothbrush to clear out pebbles stuck in the grip grooves to maintain traction.
Yes! Removable insoles absorb significant foot sweat during runs. Take them out periodically, wash them gently with soap and water, and let them air dry completely before placing them back inside the shoes.
Pull out the insoles after an intense workout session to let them air dry naturally in a well-ventilated shaded area. You can also use antibacterial shoe deodorizer sprays or baking soda sachets overnight to absorb moisture.
Performance foams need about 24 to 48 hours to fully decompress and bounce back to their original cushioning state after a heavy run. If you run daily, rotating between two pairs helps extend the lifespan of the cushioning.
